The Mission

Why We Exist

Who we are

RISE Youth Training was created in Norfolk to offer something different for families in Dereham, Norwich, and beyond.

Our classes and community go beyond fitness. The kids move, build strength and learn to lead, bounce back, and work together.

Sessions are designed to build resilience, not just muscles. It’s about character as much as conditioning, and helping kids grow and be confident.

What RISE Stands For

Resilience
Life knocks them down. We teach them how to get back up. In a world where setbacks feel personal, resilience gives kids the confidence to keep going
Integrity
Doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching. We help children understand that how they act matters

Strength

Yes, physical strength. But also the strength to speak up, to try again, to believe in themselves

Endurance

Attention spans are shrinking, distractions are growing. We train kids to stick with things and to keep going when it’s hard, repetitive, or uncomfortable.

Project Road Map

Primary School Age Functional Fitness Classes

A key foundation of the RISE journey, where we can have the most impact, giving 5–11 year olds a place to grow stronger, inside and out. These classes spark confidence, build healthy habits, and set the tone for everything we aim to achieve.

Growing the RISE Community

We’re growing more than muscles — we’re building a community. By connecting children, parents, and coaches, we create a shared space where support, encouragement, and belonging become part of the journey. Currently, using our Facebook group, see here, we encourage parents to invite others to join in with their children's clubs and activities 

It’s how RISE becomes something bigger.

RISE for Teens: Stronger Minds, Stronger Bodies

We’ll be creating dedicated groups for secondary school children, a space where movement becomes an outlet, not a chore. As anxiety rises and screens take over, these sessions will help teens reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and find their calm.

The RISE Support Hub

We’ll be launching a dedicated hub for parents and children, a resource for guidance on nutrition, wellbeing, recovery and more. It’s about supporting the whole journey, with real world advice that makes healthy choices feel doable, not daunting

A Movement for Norfolk’s Future

Long-term, we see RISE as more than sessions, it’s a shift in how the wider community supports its young people.

With sessions further afield, leadership pathways for teens, and a clear standard for youth health and resilience, we’ll grow something lasting.
